HGF named one of the UK's Best Workplaces for Women™ 2026

HGF has been listed in the UK's Best Workplaces for Women™ 2026 rankings by Great Place to Work®, recognising organisations that are creating workplaces where women can thrive and progress in their careers.

This recognition is based on anonymous colleague feedback and reflects HGF's ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and progressive workplace culture for all. Over recent years, HGF has continued to work with colleagues to understand what’s important to them in terms of investment in policies, initiatives, and support networks designed to help them succeed both professionally and personally.

Among these initiatives is HGF's market-leading New Parent Policy, which provides eligible new parents with up to 52 weeks of leave, including 26 weeks at full pay, regardless of gender or family circumstance. Introduced in 2024, the policy is designed to help level the playing field for parents (regardless of gender and family make up) and support colleagues through a significant stage of their lives and careers.

Alongside this, HGF continues to strengthen its culture through initiatives such as flexible working, colleague-led affinity groups and supporting initiatives, including its award-winning Menopause Support Programme, which formed out of working with the Menopause Affinity Group. This group provides a safe space for colleagues to share experiences, access specialist support, and drive greater awareness across the business.

Feedback from an existing Menopause Affinity Group member:

“I love this group for the fact that I can really see that it's not just me. I've never really talked about it with anyone because I've felt too young, or I should just get on with things, so I really appreciate not being alone with it all.”
